OCC 6313 - Occupational Therapy Adult Practice 1

Credits: 3
This course is designed to give students a basic understanding of general patho-physiology, evaluation, intervention planning, and implementation for adults experiencing dysfunction related to the following systems: musculoskeletal, integumentary, and immune. Students will be given the opportunity to develop competency in evaluation, intervention strategies, and documentation of outcomes for the adult population in various practice settings. Prerequisite(s): Neurological Basis of Occupation, Movement Components of Occupation, Foundations and Analysis of Occupational Therapy, Musculoskeletal Fundamentals of Occupational Therapy Lab, Neurological Fundamentals for Occupational Therapy.
