DPT 6310 - Applied Pathophysiology

Credits: 4 SH
This course provides an understanding of the pathophysiological principles of tissue and systems of the human body commonly encountered in the practice of physical therapy. Special emphasis is placed on understanding the physiology of the cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and endocrine systems. In addition, this course will highlight the identifying signs and symptoms indicating diminished capacity of these systems due to disease and/or disability in patients.
