The Department of Behavioral Sciences houses two degree programs:
In addition to providing specialized instruction to students majoring or minoring in these programs, the department offers courses that meet the requirements of the university’s General Education Curriculum, as well as courses that support majors in other disciplines.
Department programs emphasize student mastery of discipline-specific content, critical thinking, and oral and written communication skills. As an integral part of the education process, faculty and students engage in scholarly research. Program graduates are prepared to enter graduate or professional school or to pursue immediate employment.
